What is "Build A Pond Day" all about?
The day starts with a discussion of all the components included in our Nursery Pro Micro Pond Kits. We Cover what they are, what they do, and how to get the most out of them. We also cover where to place your pond in your yard and why, how to design your pond to keep your fish away from predators and what you need to know to keep your fish safe in the winter. image_1
image101 We follow our introduction to pondering with designing our actual pond, digging the hole, and placing our skimmer and filter. We will show you how to properly install your plumbing correctly, how to position your filter for optimum water circulation and include some more design tips to make it easier to place your rocks.
In our next section we show you how to properly place your underlayment for maximum liner protection and give you tips how to place your liner. image104

In this section we'll also show you how to make fish caves for your fish to hide in and provide ample discussion on how to properly build your waterfall. We cover design tips for waterfalls ranging from trickles to ones you can whitewater raft down. This section of our seminar is not to be missed!
We're almost done! One of the best things you can add to your pond is plants and lighting. Plants help to filter your water, and lighting makes it so you can enjoy your pond at night. In this part of the seminar we show you how to install and care for your plants, and how to design and install lighting for your pond. image119
