Ajuga Burgundy Glow

Ajuga ‘Burgundy Glow’ is a colorful, low-growing perennial groundcover prized for its striking variegated foliage in shades of burgundy, cream, pink, and green. The unique blend of colors creates season-long interest, while spikes of vibrant blue flowers emerge in spring, adding a beautiful contrast above the foliage. Its dense, spreading habit forms a lush carpet that is ideal for borders, woodland gardens, rock gardens, and planting beneath trees and shrubs.

This variety is especially valued for its ornamental foliage, which brightens shaded garden spaces and provides year-round texture and color. Its vigorous growth helps suppress weeds while creating a polished, finished look in the landscape.

Maintenance: Plant in partial shade to bright indirect light with moist, well-drained soil. Water regularly during the first 1–2 weeks after planting to establish roots, then maintain moderate moisture during dry periods. Ajuga spreads steadily over time and can be trimmed back if needed to maintain its shape or control growth.
