Beech Trees Purple Fountain

#15 gallon pot.

Beech ‘Purple Fountain’ - Height: 25-35 ft, Width: 20-30 ft. Interest: Deep purple, weeping foliage with a fountain-like shape. ‘Purple Fountain’ Beech is a dramatic, ornamental tree with cascading, deep purple leaves that turn bronze in fall. Its unique weeping form makes it a focal point in landscapes or accent gardens. Plant in full sun to partial shade with well-draining soil. Water regularly during the first year to establish a strong root system. Little pruning is required except for removing dead or crossing branches.

Maintenance Tip:
Prune in late winter while dormant to remove dead or crossing branches and maintain structure. Water deeply during dry periods, especially when young, and apply mulch to retain soil moisture. Fertilize in early spring if needed, and avoid excessive disturbance around roots.
