Black Eyed Susan Little Goldstar

Rudbeckia fulgida var. sullivantii ‘Little Goldstar’ is a compact variety of Black-Eyed Susan with smaller but equally vibrant yellow blooms and a dark center. Its tidy growth habit makes it perfect for smaller garden beds, borders, or container plantings.

Thrives in full sun, is drought tolerant, low maintenance, and pollinator-friendly, providing both color and wildlife benefits. A beginner-friendly outdoor perennial that is ideal for sunny landscapes.

Maintenance Tip:
Provide regular watering during establishment, then reduce frequency as the plant becomes drought tolerant. Deadhead for a longer bloom period, or leave flowers for seasonal interest. Cut back in late fall and divide every few years to maintain vigor.
