#3 gallon pot.
Miss Molly Butterfly Bush (Buddleia) is a compact, flowering shrub prized for its stunning, deep sangria-red to reddish-pink blooms that attract butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds throughout summer. Its fragrant, cone-shaped flowers stand out against lush green foliage, creating a bold and colorful display. Growing approximately 4–5 feet tall and wide, it offers abundant blooms without requiring a large planting space.
Thriving in full sun and well-draining soil, it is heat tolerant, drought tolerant once established, and highly pollinator-friendly. Ideal for shrub borders, foundation plantings, and butterfly gardens.
Maintenance Tip: Water regularly after planting, then during extended dry periods. Cut back in spring after new growth begins to encourage healthy branching and abundant blooms. Remove spent flowers as desired to maintain a tidy appearance and encourage continued flowering.
