Butterfly Bushes Nanho Blue

#3 gallon pot.

Nanho Blue Butterfly Bush (Buddleia davidii) is a fast-growing, deciduous flowering shrub known for its elegant spikes of fragrant, silvery-blue to lavender-blue flowers that attract butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds throughout summer. Its slender green foliage and gracefully arching branches create a soft, airy appearance. Growing approximately 5–6 feet tall and 4–5 feet wide, it provides beautiful color and texture.

Thriving in full sun and well-draining soil, it is drought tolerant once established and highly pollinator-friendly. Ideal for mixed borders, cottage gardens, and sunny landscapes.

Maintenance Tip: Water regularly after planting until established, then during extended dry periods. Cut back to approximately 12–15 inches in spring once new growth begins to encourage vigorous growth and flowering. Remove faded blooms to promote additional flowers through the season.
