#3 gallon pot.
Pugster Pinker Butterfly Bush (Buddleia) is a compact, dwarf flowering shrub featuring large, vibrant, rich pink flower spikes with tiny bright orange centers that attract butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds throughout summer and into fall. Its dense, rounded growth habit and thick, sturdy stems provide improved winter hardiness while producing abundant, full-sized blooms. Growing approximately 2 feet tall and 2–2.5 feet wide, it adds bold seasonal color to smaller spaces.
Thriving in full sun and well-draining soil, it is drought tolerant once established and highly pollinator-friendly. Ideal for garden borders, containers, and sunny foundation plantings.
Maintenance Tip: Water regularly after planting until established, then during prolonged dry periods. Cut back in spring once new growth begins to encourage healthy branching and abundant blooms. Deadheading is not required, but removing faded flowers can help maintain a neat appearance. Avoid pruning in fall.
