#3 gallon pot.
Pugster White Butterfly Bush (Buddleia) is a compact, dwarf flowering shrub known for its large, dense spikes of crisp white, honey-scented flowers that attract butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds throughout summer and into fall. Its lush green foliage provides a beautiful contrast to the bright white blooms, while its sturdy stems and rounded growth habit offer improved winter hardiness. Growing approximately 2 feet tall and 2–3 feet wide, it provides an elegant display in small garden spaces.
Thriving in full sun and well-draining soil, it is drought tolerant once established and highly pollinator-friendly. Ideal for borders, containers, pollinator gardens, and sunny landscapes.
Maintenance Tip: Water regularly during the first growing season, then during extended dry periods. Cut back in spring once new growth begins to encourage strong branching and abundant flowering. Deadheading is not necessary, though spent flowers can be removed for a tidy appearance. Avoid pruning in fall.
