Catmint ‘Walker’s Low’ is a hardy, long-blooming perennial known for its soft gray-green foliage and abundant spikes of lavender-blue flowers. Despite its name, it forms a mounded, spreading habit that provides excellent ground coverage and soft texture in garden beds, borders, and cottage-style landscapes. Blooming from late spring through summer—with repeat flowering if trimmed—it adds long-lasting color and movement to sunny plantings.
This variety is highly attractive to bees, butterflies, and other pollinators while also being deer and rabbit resistant. Its relaxed, flowing habit makes it ideal for edging pathways, filling borders, or softening hardscape areas.
Maintenance: Plant in full sun to partial shade with well-drained soil. Water regularly during the first 1–2 weeks after planting to establish roots, then reduce watering as plants become drought tolerant once established. Shear back lightly after the first major bloom flush to encourage reblooming and maintain a tidy shape. Avoid overly wet soil, especially in winter.
