Creeping Thyme Pink Chintz

Creeping Thyme ‘Pink Chintz’ is a low-growing perennial groundcover prized for its dense carpet of aromatic gray-green foliage and masses of soft pink flowers in early to mid-summer. As the plant matures, it forms a colorful mat that spreads between stepping stones, along pathways, in rock gardens, and throughout sunny borders. When in bloom, the vibrant pink flowers create a stunning display while attracting bees, butterflies, and other beneficial pollinators.

This hardy thyme variety is valued for its drought tolerance, deer resistance, and ability to soften hardscape areas with year-round texture and seasonal color. Its low, spreading habit makes it an excellent alternative to traditional lawn areas in small spaces and a favorite choice for cottage gardens and pollinator-friendly landscapes.

Maintenance: Plant in full sun with well-drained soil for best growth and flowering. Water regularly during the first 1–2 weeks after planting to establish roots, then reduce watering as plants become highly drought tolerant once established.
