Daylily

Orange Daylily is a hardy, easy-to-grow perennial known for its bright orange, trumpet-shaped flowers held above clumps of arching green foliage. Blooming in summer, each individual flower lasts for about a day, while established plants produce numerous buds that open in succession for an extended seasonal display. Its vibrant color and graceful form make it a classic choice for perennial borders, foundation plantings, slopes, and naturalized garden areas.

Valued for its durability and adaptability, Orange Daylily performs reliably in a wide range of landscape conditions and returns year after year with minimal care. Once established, it is drought tolerant and works especially well in mass plantings where its colorful blooms and dense foliage can create a bold summer display.

Maintenance: Plant in full sun to partial shade with well-drained soil. Water regularly during the first 1–2 weeks after planting to establish roots, then provide supplemental watering during prolonged dry periods. Remove spent flower stalks after blooming to maintain a tidy appearance. Cut back old foliage in late fall or early spring, and divide mature clumps every few years if they become overcrowded or flowering begins to decline.
