Diatomaceous Earth

Diatomaceous Earth (DE) provides full-strength insect control for use in and around homes, barns, stables, vegetable gardens, and flower gardens. This natural product works through a mechanical mode of action rather than a conventional chemical insecticide, controlling insects through direct contact and ingestion. Because of the way it works, insects do not develop immunity to its action.

Diatomaceous Earth can be used to control a variety of listed pests, including bed bugs, Asian lady beetles, boxelder bugs, mites, ants, flies, fleas, spiders, beetles, and other crawling insects. When properly applied, affected insects typically succumb within 24–48 hours of contact. It can be applied as either a dust or slurry depending on the application and is earthworm safe when used as directed.
