#3 gallon pot.
Ivory Halo Dogwood (Cornus alba 'Bailhalo') is a compact, deciduous shrub prized for its beautiful green foliage edged in creamy white and vibrant red stems that provide striking winter interest. Small clusters of white flowers appear in late spring, followed by berries that attract birds. Growing approximately 4–6 feet tall and wide, it forms a dense, rounded shape that adds color and texture throughout the seasons.
Thriving in full sun to partial shade and moist, well-draining soil, it is low maintenance and pollinator-friendly. Ideal for foundation plantings, mixed borders, mass plantings, and winter-interest gardens.
Maintenance Tip: Water regularly during establishment and keep soil consistently moist, especially during dry periods. In late winter or early spring, remove a few older stems at ground level to encourage fresh growth with vibrant red winter color. Apply mulch to retain moisture and protect roots.
