Euonymous Shrubs Gold Splash

Gold Splash Euonymus (Euonymus fortunei 'Roemertwo') is a compact evergreen shrub prized for its large, rounded green leaves bordered by bold golden-yellow margins that provide vibrant color throughout the year. Its dense, naturally mounded growth habit creates a full, attractive appearance, while its bright foliage adds contrast to darker plants. Growing approximately 2–3 feet tall and 3–4 feet wide, it provides beautiful year-round interest in smaller landscapes.

Thriving in full sun to partial shade and well-draining soil, it is adaptable, drought tolerant once established, and generally low maintenance. Ideal for foundation plantings, mixed borders, mass plantings, and colorful evergreen accents.

Maintenance Tip: Water regularly during establishment, then during prolonged dry periods. Prune lightly in early spring if needed to maintain its compact shape, and remove any solid green shoots to preserve its colorful variegation. Apply mulch to retain moisture and fertilize lightly in spring if needed.
