Foxglove Dalmation Peach

Digitalis, or Foxglove, ‘Dalmation’ varieties are compact, early-blooming selections known for their tall spikes of tubular flowers and classic cottage-garden charm. Varieties like Dalmation Purple, Dalmation Peach, and Dalmation Mix produce beautifully speckled blooms in soft pastel and rich jewel tones, creating vertical interest and vibrant seasonal color in garden beds and borders. Their sturdy, upright habit makes them an excellent choice for adding height and attracting pollinators such as bees and hummingbirds.

Blooming from late spring into early summer, the Dalmation Series offers the elegant appearance of traditional foxgloves in a more compact, landscape-friendly form. These plants thrive in cooler conditions and pair beautifully with other cottage-style perennials.

Maintenance: Plant in full sun to partial shade with rich, well-drained soil. Water regularly during the first 1–2 weeks after planting to establish strong roots, then maintain moderate moisture throughout the growing season. Remove spent flower spikes to encourage additional blooms and maintain a tidy appearance. In hotter climates, some afternoon shade can help protect blooms and foliage. Foxgloves may self-seed under favorable conditions if seed heads are left in place.
