Heuchera Spice Curls

Heuchera ‘Spice Curls’ (Coral Bells) is a vibrant perennial known for its uniquely ruffled, curling foliage in warm tones of copper, amber, and bronze. Its textured leaves provide year-round interest, especially in shaded garden beds, borders, and mixed perennial plantings where color and foliage contrast are desired. In late spring to early summer, delicate flower spikes rise above the foliage, producing small bell-shaped blooms that attract pollinators like bees and hummingbirds.

This variety is valued primarily for its striking foliage, which adds warmth and dimension to shade and part-shade landscapes. Its compact, mounded habit makes it an excellent choice for edging, containers, and woodland-style gardens.

Maintenance: Plant in partial shade to bright indirect light with rich, well-drained soil. Water regularly during the first 1–2 weeks after planting to establish roots, then maintain moderate moisture, especially during dry or warm periods.
