Heucherella Fun and Games® ‘Red Rover’ is a colorful perennial prized for its deeply lobed foliage that emerges bright red in spring before maturing to rich shades of cinnamon, bronze, and deep burgundy. The bold, maple-like leaves create season-long interest and provide outstanding color in shaded borders, woodland gardens, and mixed perennial plantings. In late spring to early summer, delicate spikes of creamy white flowers rise above the foliage, adding contrast and attracting pollinators.
This vigorous variety combines the best traits of Heuchera and Tiarella, offering vibrant foliage color, excellent garden performance, and a dense, mounded habit. Its ever-changing leaf colors make it a standout choice for adding texture and warmth to shaded landscapes throughout the growing season.
Maintenance: Plant in partial shade to bright indirect light with rich, well-drained soil. Water regularly during the first 1–2 weeks after planting to establish roots, then maintain moderate moisture, especially during hot or dry periods. Avoid overly wet soil conditions, particularly in winter. Remove spent flower stems after blooming and clean up damaged foliage in early spring to encourage fresh, healthy growth.
