Maple Trees Fall Fiesta Sugar Maple

#15 gallon pot.

Fall Fiesta® Sugar Maple Tree (Acer saccharum ‘Bailsta’) - Height: 50-75 ft, Width: 40-50 ft. Interest: Brilliant orange, red, and yellow fall foliage with a dense, rounded canopy. Fall Fiesta® Sugar Maple is a beautiful, fast-growing selection of the classic Sugar Maple, prized for its exceptional autumn color and strong, symmetrical branching structure. Its thick, glossy green leaves provide excellent shade throughout summer before transforming into a spectacular display of fiery orange, vibrant red, and golden yellow in fall. With its broad, rounded form and sturdy growth habit, this impressive shade tree makes an excellent specimen for larger yards, lawns, and open landscapes. A cold-hardy variety well suited to New England, Fall Fiesta® thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers fertile, moist, well-draining soil. Water regularly during establishment and during extended dry periods. Minimal pruning is needed beyond removing dead, damaged, or crossing branches to maintain its naturally attractive shape.

Maintenance Tip:
Prune in late winter or early spring to remove dead or crossing branches, but avoid heavy pruning during peak sap flow. Water during prolonged dry periods, especially for young trees, and apply mulch around the base to conserve moisture. Fertilize lightly in early spring if growth appears slow.
