Mountain Laurel Shrubs Raspberry Glow

#3 gallon pot.

Raspberry Glow Mountain Laurel (Kalmia latifolia 'Raspberry Glow') is a vibrant native evergreen shrub prized for its stunning clusters of deep burgundy-red flower buds that open into beautiful raspberry-pink, cup-shaped blooms in late spring. Its glossy, dark green foliage and attractive purplish-red stems create a striking contrast, providing year-round color and texture. Growing approximately 4–5 feet tall and wide, it maintains a dense, upright growth habit that adds beautiful structure to the landscape.

Thriving in partial shade to full sun and moist, acidic, well-draining soil, it is low maintenance, cold hardy, and pollinator-friendly. Ideal for woodland gardens, mixed borders, foundation plantings, and colorful evergreen accents.

Maintenance Tip: Water regularly during establishment and keep soil consistently moist, especially during prolonged dry periods. Prune lightly immediately after flowering if needed to maintain shape, and remove spent blooms as desired. Apply mulch to retain moisture and protect shallow roots, and fertilize with an acid-loving fertilizer in spring if needed.
