Redbud Trees Flame Thrower

Flame Thrower Redbud - Height: 15-20ft, Width: 12-15ft. Bloom Time: Early to Mid Spring. This Redbud has pink flowers that are followed by unique foliage, emerging burgundy-red, followed by bright yellow and green as it ages. The color display is persistent throughout the season, often showing four to five different shades on a single branch. Native species. Low maintenance. Prefers full sun, average water, moist and well drained soil.

Maintenance Tip:
Prune just after flowering to maintain shape and remove dead or crossing branches. Water regularly during establishment and during dry spells, and apply mulch to retain moisture. Fertilize lightly in early spring and monitor for stress in extreme heat or drought conditions.
