Rose of Sharon Shrubs White Chiffon

#3 gallon pot.

White Chiffon Rose of Sharon (Hibiscus syriacus 'Notwoodtwo') is a stunning deciduous flowering shrub known for its large, pure white flowers featuring soft, lacy, ruffled centers that create an elegant, semi-double appearance. Blooming from midsummer into early fall, its bright white blossoms stand out beautifully against rich green foliage, bringing a fresh, graceful appearance to the landscape. Its naturally upright, rounded growth habit and softly arching branches provide attractive structure and texture throughout the growing season. Growing approximately 8–12 feet tall and 6–10 feet wide, it creates a spectacular display of summer blooms.

Thriving in full sun and well-draining soil, it is heat tolerant, drought tolerant once established, deer resistant, low maintenance, and highly pollinator-friendly, attracting bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Ideal for flowering hedges, privacy screens, mixed borders, specimen plantings, and moon gardens.

Maintenance Tip: Water regularly during establishment, then during extended dry periods. Prune in late winter or early spring to maintain shape and encourage vigorous flowering on new growth. Remove damaged branches as necessary, apply mulch to retain soil moisture, and fertilize lightly in spring if needed.
