#3 gallon pot.
Gabriel Oak Rose (Rosa 'Auscrowd') is a magnificent English shrub rose known for its richly colored, deep pink flowers filled with layers of beautifully arranged petals that form elegant rosette-shaped blooms. Its abundant blossoms release a strong, fruity fragrance reminiscent of berries, creating a wonderful sensory experience throughout the growing season. Dark green foliage and attractive mulberry-purple stems provide a beautiful contrast, while its vigorous, naturally rounded growth habit creates a full, luxurious appearance. Growing approximately 4 feet tall and wide, it brings classic English rose beauty to garden spaces.
Thriving in full sun and fertile, well-draining soil, it is highly fragrant, repeat flowering, and attractive to pollinators. Ideal for cottage gardens, mixed borders, fragrant rose gardens, cutting gardens, and specimen plantings.
Maintenance Tip: Water deeply and regularly during establishment, then during extended dry periods. Prune in early spring to remove dead or weak stems and maintain a balanced, rounded shape. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage repeat blooming, and fertilize with a rose fertilizer in spring and again during active growth if needed. Apply mulch to retain moisture and protect roots during winter.
