#2 gallon pot.
Knock Out Petite Rose (Rosa 'Meibenbino') is a charming, miniature shrub rose known for its brilliant, fire-engine-red flowers that bloom continuously from late spring until frost. Its small, vibrant blossoms are complemented by exceptionally glossy, dark green foliage, creating a striking contrast throughout the growing season. Unlike traditional Knock Out roses, this petite variety maintains an extremely compact, dense growth habit, growing approximately 18 inches tall and similarly wide. Its naturally tidy appearance provides impressive flower power in even the smallest garden spaces.
Thriving in full sun and well-draining soil, it is disease resistant, heat tolerant, low maintenance, and pollinator-friendly. Ideal for containers, garden borders, edging, small foundation plantings, and colorful patio displays.
Maintenance Tip: Water regularly during establishment, particularly when grown in containers, and allow excess water to drain freely. Prune lightly in early spring to remove dead stems and maintain its naturally compact shape. Deadheading is not necessary for continued flowering. Apply mulch around garden plantings and fertilize lightly in spring if needed.
