#3 gallon pot.
Lady of Shalott Rose (Rosa 'Ausnyson') is a beautiful English shrub rose known for its large, chalice-shaped flowers featuring a stunning blend of rich apricot-orange, warm copper, and soft salmon-pink petals with golden-yellow undersides. Its elegant blossoms release a pleasant tea fragrance with hints of spiced apple and cloves, creating a wonderful sensory display from late spring through fall. Attractive green foliage emerges with subtle bronze tones, while its vigorous, slightly arching growth habit creates a graceful, naturally rounded shrub. Growing approximately 5 feet tall and 4 feet wide, it adds warm color and romantic charm to the landscape.
Thriving in full sun to partial shade and fertile, well-draining soil, it is fragrant, repeat flowering, and attractive to pollinators. Ideal for cottage gardens, mixed borders, rose gardens, flowering hedges, and fragrant specimen plantings.
Maintenance Tip: Water deeply and regularly during establishment, then during prolonged dry periods. Prune in early spring to remove dead or weak branches and maintain its graceful, slightly arching shape. Deadhead faded blooms to encourage additional flowering, and fertilize with a rose fertilizer in spring and during active growth if needed. Apply mulch to retain moisture and provide winter root protection.
