Shasta Daisy ‘Banana Cream’ is a long-blooming perennial prized for its large, buttery yellow flowers that gradually mature to creamy white as they age. Blooming from early summer into late summer, its cheerful daisy-like blooms with bright golden centers bring a soft, sunny look to garden beds, borders, cutting gardens, and pollinator plantings. The sturdy stems hold flowers upright, making them excellent for fresh-cut arrangements.
This award-winning variety is valued for its unique flower color, compact habit, and dependable reblooming performance. Its nectar-rich blooms attract butterflies, bees, and other beneficial pollinators while providing months of color in the landscape.
Maintenance: Plant in full sun with well-drained soil for the best flowering display. Water regularly during the first 1–2 weeks after planting to establish roots, then provide supplemental watering during extended dry periods. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage continuous blooming and maintain a tidy appearance. Divide mature clumps every few years to promote vigorous growth and cut back old foliage in late fall or early spring.
