Clematis Ville De Leon

Clematis ‘Ville de Lyon’ is a vigorous, long-blooming climbing vine known for its rich carmine-red to reddish-pink flowers with slightly darker margins and contrasting golden stamens. Blooming heavily from summer into early fall, its abundant flowers create a bold display across trellises, arbors, fences, and garden structures. The vibrant blooms stand out beautifully against its lush green foliage and provide excellent vertical color during the height of summer.

This classic clematis is valued for its reliable flowering, strong growth, and ability to cover larger supports over time. Its extended summer bloom season makes it an excellent choice for adding dramatic color and height to perennial gardens and mixed landscape plantings.

Maintenance: Plant in full sun to partial shade with fertile, well-drained soil, keeping the root zone cool with mulch or surrounding plants.
