#3 gallon pot.
Tiny Quick Fire Hydrangea (Hydrangea paniculata) is a charming dwarf deciduous flowering shrub known for its delicate, cone-shaped flower clusters that emerge creamy white before transitioning to beautiful rosy-pink and reddish tones as summer progresses. Blooming earlier than many other hydrangeas, its abundant flowers provide long-lasting seasonal color while maintaining a naturally compact, rounded growth habit. Its sturdy stems and lush green foliage create an attractive, full appearance throughout the growing season. Growing approximately 1.5–3 feet tall and 2–3 feet wide, it provides impressive flowering performance in even the smallest landscape spaces.
Thriving in full sun to partial shade and moist, well-draining soil, it is exceptionally cold hardy, low maintenance, and beginner-friendly. Ideal for small garden borders, containers, foundation plantings, edging, and mass plantings.
Maintenance Tip: Water regularly during establishment, then deeply during prolonged dry periods. Prune lightly in late winter or early spring before new growth begins to maintain its compact shape and encourage healthy branching and abundant blooms. Remove damaged stems as needed, apply mulch to retain moisture, and fertilize lightly in spring if needed.
